Do I need a dance partner?
No. Partners rotate during class, so everyone dances with someone. If there aren't enough leaders or followers, we find extra people through our WhatsApp groups. If you'd rather not switch, that's fine too.
What should I wear?
Something you can move and lift your arms in, like for the gym. Smooth-soled shoes you can spin in. Coming straight from work? Bring a fresh shirt.
I dance at another school. Which level?
On the Salsa or Bachata page, read the ‘This is you if’ line for each level. Or do two try-outs back to back. Not sure? Send us a WhatsApp.
How does a try-out work?
You join one class for €5 and bring a friend for free. Liked it? Book the 6-week course during your try-out and get a discount.
Can I switch days?
Yes. Send us a WhatsApp or email with the class you'd like to go to.
Can I join a course late?
For Beginners and Improvers you can join up to the third week. Later than that? Send us a message and we'll look together.
What does a class cost outside try-out weeks?
Your first class at Lumos is €8. A single class is €17.
